The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - San Ramon, CA

Pretty good place for a quick eat. The portions here are huge and service is quick. The inside is pretty spacious and well lit. You also have to try their feta fries. It looks (and tastes) amazing!

Absolutely delicious food made from fresh ingredients. All the flavors are rich and savory. Particularly want to commend the service. The cashier was being berated by an extremely rude and demanding customer, but the employee never lost his patience and remained professional at all times. I would have asked the person to leave they were so belligerent. Can't wait to come back.

Recently, we had family over and decided to oder from The Great Greek in San Ramon. The total order was over $350. I had some specific requests for my order and called the restaurant directly to make sure they knew exactly what I was trying to order. The young man who that took my order was patient, attentive and understood what I wanted. The order was prepared exactly as I had requested. The meats and shrimp cooked just right and the rest of the order was perfect. I have to praise the person who took my order and the cook that prepared the meal. Everything went smoothly and one of them even helped me to bring my order to the car. Exceeded my expectations! Everything was fresh and delicious, generous portions! Ordered traditional gyro, watermelon/feta salad, avgolemono soup, & lemon potatoes. Potatoes were seasoned beautifully (has a little kick of spice if you’re sensitive), soup was some of the best I’ve had, silky with a great balance of lemon and chicken flavor, seasonal watermelon feta salad was so fresh and delicious- a must try if you haven’t already, and the gyro was everything you’d expect and very fresh.
