After finding my original plan for food was no longer an option, I decided to check out The Great Greek, and I'm so glad I did! The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere—the space is very bright and exceptionally clean, making for a welcoming dining environment. The menu was refreshingly straightforward, so we opted for the classic Plate featuring tender lamb, fluffy rice, and warm pita bread. To round out the meal, we added an order of their famous Feta Fries and a side of the savory lemon potatoes. The food was delivered piping hot and was absolutely delicious! The lamb was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were incredibly generous and downright plentiful, in fact. There was no way I could finish it all in one sitting, so I happily packed up enough for a complete and sat
I enjoyed the food, though the establishment makes it seem more like fast food. It's actually above fast food (despite that the food came out fairly quickly). I think all ingredients came out with a good flavor that's decently above average quality. Nothing too outstanding but it was delicious. The flavors on the ingredients were more unique than that of a basic American style Greek restaurant. I've been to many American styled Greek restaurants to know that. I was really craving gyro meat so I got that, but I feel that the chicken or beef kabobs would have been more flavorful. The Greek fries were good and all portions were good for the price.
The restaurant is clean, but 3:45 in afternoon, no customer, we ordered Gyro, soup and Gyro plate, every item came out room temperature, the owner got out of his table in the dining room trying to justify the meat temperature, stating its been in the warmer. Not the pizza, not the fries not the rice, nothing was above room temperature. Either it is pre- cooked or it sat on the counter. The presentation, food temperature was a factor for us to leave. We paid for the hot soup, on the way out the owner stated " that's okay, we have a lot of other customers" There is an offer for $100 gift card for your feedback, no $100 is needed, you have an honest, factual review.
So i was going to a nearby movie and wanted to grab lunch before . This turned out to be a wonderful idea. I chose the great greek plate with gyro meat. I chose the lemon potatoes as my side. Im not gonna lie. I cleaned the plate literly. I even ate the spices off the bottom of the plate and sucked the lemons dry. Im usually not a fan of tahiki sauce. However theres was so good I drank it. The service was quick. I ordered my food and it arrived in a timely mannor. I HIGHLY recommend you give them a try.
First time here and I was really impressed! The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the portions are generous. We had the chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes and the steak souvlaki platter with rice pilaf — both came with fresh, crisp salads and a tasty dressing. The chicken was flavorful, but the steak souvlaki was the real standout — incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with that perfect grilled flavor. You can tell they use high-quality meat, and it makes all the difference. These days, so many places cut corners on food quality, which is such a disservice to customers — but not here. My only small suggestion would be to make the potatoes more like traditional Greek lemon, garlic, and oregano ones. Overall, excellent food, great portions, and amazing quality — I’ll definitely be
