We tried their breakfast and were happy to see that they had a New England classic... red flannel hash (delicious)! Their fruit is delicious and fresh, a tasy addition for a slight upcharge if you are substituting a side.

(Bar area, downstairs) Service was slow and unapologetic. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our food order, with no acknowledgment or explanation. Food was a major disappointment. I ordered the pretzel “bites” (see photo), and what came out was clearly a single full pretzel, not bites—burnt to a crisp, extremely hard, and completely inedible. Drinks didn’t fare much better. The keg kicked after the first round on a Friday night. While that can happen, having no replacement available on your busiest night of the week is a bad look. Atmosphere was okay. There was live music, which was fine and probably the highlight of the visit—but it wasn’t enough to make up for the poor service and food. Overall, not a place I’d return to or recommend.

Stopped at The Grateful Skier today for brunch on our way to Canada. We were seated immediately by our friendly server who also helped us choose some favorites from the delicious choices on the menu. I had the eggs over easy with a side of baked beans. I have never seen this as a brunch option and love that they offer it. They were the absolute best baked beans I have ever eaten! I also loved the decor. Not the usual rustic style found in mountain towns which was refreshing. It also has fun and tasteful Grateful Dead bear decals on the wall that I had only noticed when we were leaving. Definitely check this place out before the winter rush!

We had an amazing meal at the Grateful Skier. The service was amazing too - my son is picky and they accommodated his requests.

Eric, Elizabeth and team…you should be so proud of what you have accomplished so far…so much work, thought and care to create a welcoming unique enjoyable engaging distinct venue that draws locals/visitors/ seasonals of all ages for tunes/bevies/bites/community…we visited as a mom w/4 teenagers - we had nachos, burgers, pulled pork, delicious ‘friend of the devil’ cocktail…service was great, seated at the high-top in bar area as dining area was full…Amy was a great server, we had a blast time playing cards from the game supply after dinner while enjoying open mic tunes…the attention to detail that showcases Eric’s love of the Grateful Dead and skiing is tastefully and stylishly woven throughout the entire space, from the moment you see the dancing bears on the glass, to the incredible hos
