The Grateful Gourmet

Absolutely fantastic dining experience in a charming, intimate setting. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted incredibly fresh, with a menu that offers truly unique selections. We enjoyed the Michele burger, the mac and cheese, the burrata salad, and the Guinness Shepherd’s Pie—the last two were specials, and both outstanding. Each plate was flavorful, creative, and beautifully executed. A wonderful spot that clearly takes pride in quality and craftsmanship. Highly recommend!

What an adorable place. The eclectic art, wonderful staff, and amazing food was outstanding. We ordered Get Figgy with It and a Croquet Monsieur for lunch, both were delicious and brought a tear to my eye for the excellent french food I miss from afar. I can't say enough about this cute place that was reminiscent of Woodstock. It is a little tucked back off the street and they are open 11-3 Wednesday through Sunday, but it is a must visit for any food lover! The server Eva and owner Desi were great and love a good conversation too!

I am so glad we stopped here for lunch! It’s a cute, little place with a chill vibe. Our waitress was so welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING and the portions were huge. The table next to us were regulars and were so nice! I, literally, felt like I was over a friend’s house. Mt. Holly…..you are so lucky to have this place! If you’re not from the area, do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won’t be sorry!

A friend has raved about Desi's food for years. SO when it came time to plan my daughter's bridal shower, I decided to head out to the newly opened "The Grateful Gourmet" cafe in Mt Holly to do a little "research". Well, this was my first AND last stop. The food was FABULOUS! The little cafe has the coolest, hippest and friendliest vibe! Desi was such a great help suggesting some delicious light summer fare. She was so patient and answered every question this nervous mother-of-the-bride-to-be had! Thank heavens it was only for 25 people!! We used the Grateful Gourmet for one of my in-office events, and it was sincerely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Desiree arrived early and helped me set everything up. Everything was fresh and delicious. I hope I get to have the Grateful Gourmet again soon.
