South Star Diner

Been there many times for breakfast but first time for dinner. Early bird specials are great; soup or salad, entree, dessert. With drink expect to pay around $42 for two. We always tip $10. But plenty of food to take home for the next day. Wife got Turkey Dinner w/stuffing and cranberry sauce. I got the new Meatloaf Leonardo Parmigiana and was pleasantly surprised! Great flavor. Service is wonderful and a nice place to eat out!

Went for breakfast with a good friend. I ordered the tropical pancakes, and she ordered the turkey, pastrami, and cheese with Russia dressing. The food was absolutely right on point. Everything was delicious. Our server was excellent, and there whenever we needed her. All in all, it was a great dining experience. If you're in the area, you have to check this place out.

Classic Diner. Been going here for a decade plus. Good service, good food, good prices. Honey Glazed Chicken and Waffles are excellent! Still going here. Same great service as always. UPDATE: New menu as of Feb 20th

The South Star Diner has been my Sunday morning breakfast stop since kitchen 87 closed. Staff is friendly and attentive. I had the #5 Breakfast special. Country fried steak with sausage gravy, eggs . Home fries, toast, coffee and juice. Everything was delicious and served with a smile. I will be returning.

Oh my goodness talk about a bang for your buck! Soooo much food for what I paid and ALL of the food I ordered was delicious! 5 stars for sure. This place is definitely the best diner around no doubt!!! Thank you south star!
