The Grapevine Grille

A party booked a year in advance. The restaurant just was not prepared. Meals did not come out as orders my food had to be asked for, it had been forgotten. While my husband sat and waiting for my meal to come his meal was cold by that time. The waitress was rude. That's the nicest I can say about her. She insulted a member of our party. Delivery of the birthday cake to the wrong table then she served the cake to others before the birthday person. When asked about it she said oh well! I was able to finish two cups of water and two drinks before my food arrived. The waitress also argued with a party member over ordering drinks that she wanted to pay for separately. Overall she was not a great server. My first drink had more color. The cake was not from there.

The Grapevine Grille has to be one of the best hidden gems in Western Massachusetts! When I come to visit family we all make it a point to go there every Saturday for lunch. The food is amazing, portions are plentiful and the service (bar and seating) is always great! It has become a tradition since my father passed away in July, 2019. The menu has something for everyone and I have NEVER had a bad meal there. I cannot emphasize enough about the entire staff and how they make you feel welcomed and are always happy to see you. Started off with a salad and my wife had chicken rice soup. My wife ordered the baked seafood platter. I ordered the full rack of ribs with roasted potatoes. The bake seafood platter was delicious. It had giant baked scallops, haddock, jumbo shrimp, and a Ritz cracker crust. with mixed vegetables, the ribs were fall off the bone, tender and delicious. Definitely would come back for more.

Busy place, everybody is moving around, food is always hot and fresh, small cheese pizzas are the BEST! Thank you Grapevine for a HUGE selection of magnificent eateries! Your chicken parm is amazing, please move/copy it to your online chicken menu, that little guy is tough to find under Italian Specialties! :)

***Update: Did another visit to this phenomenal restaurant. Everything and I mean "EVERYTHING" was perfect. A big Thank You to Sydney for being the greatest server. Because of tonights servivlce and the incredible food preparation, I needed to increase the stars of my original review. My foodie friends and I headed over to Belchertown, MA. to give the Grapevine Grill a try. We loved the atmosphere. The drinks..we didn't see what we wanted so they made it for us off menu. That was awesome. Yes, the menu is extensive but this is a competitive world. Good for them if they can have a bit of everything. But, how does it taste??
