Clapp Memorial Library

The book sale used to be a wonderful opportunity to nearby residents. In the last few years, most residents are pushed out by out of state book resellers who come with scanners, buy several duffle bags full of books, and aggressively box out others. Monday should really be set aside for locals, or ban scanning like other libraries do.

Really cool library. I enjoyed the large stained glass windows and the sculpture outside. The restroom was clean and cozy but not soundproof.

Very helpful and friendly staff. If they don’t have what you are looking for at the library, staff is there to help get it for you from the network of libraries.

The Clapp library has the best staff. The building is gorgeous and the stained glass inside a must see. Fun fact: the stained glass woman wearing a red dress...the dress turns white as the sun goes down. *magical*!

I have lived in belchertown my entire life and I have never had a bad experience there in my life. As I grew up I attended nearly every single event and program that the generous staff has hosted. This summer I helped out at the junior volunteer program and I enjoyed all of my 20 hours I did helping them. I always have friendly service their and love the building and the people there.
