The Grand Hotel & Restaurant

Stopped for dinner on our drive from Helena to Billings. We waited to select from the dinner menu... and ate in the bar area, which was still very nice! Got a peek of the formal dining room when visiting the washroom. But, the menu is the same in both the bar and the dining room. The food was excellent! We both had the braised short ribs. Absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. (We both ended up taking some home.) The salad also was delicious. By the time we left close to 6 on a Friday night the place was getting busy. This is a high class steak house but with a varied menu. We will definitely plan our trips to Billings or back so we can stop here again. I'd call this a hidden gem! Certainly worth getting off the interstate for... and a great way to make the trip.. wherever you

Rio was out sever and was outstanding! He is so sweet and made sure everything was perfec and made us feel welcome! I had the Alfredo with shrimp and was hands down, absolutely amazing! The restaurant is easy to find and super nice! Very very clean and the atmosphere was warm and inviting! We dined as a couple and would highly recommend to couples! Did I mention Rio!!!! He made the entire experience absolutely perfect! Thank you Rio!

This is a great hotel in downtown big timber. Classic design with modern upgrade though there are no en suite bathrooms in the bed for the rooms that I’ve rented here in the past. But the staff is super courteous and the bar next-door is great for meeting up with friends.

Enjoyed a great dinner at the Grand. Brussels sprouts (delicious) to start, then salmon salad (very flavorful) and shared some of gf's short rib (excellent). Definitely recommend.

Everything is nice food chefs kiss I love big timber love the old timey stuff just heard a lot of kid giggles anyway amazing
