The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast

If your traveling in PA and want to stay in a historic Victorian B&B, The Golden Oak is a charming place to stay, conveniently located in town. The owner is a gourmet chef who serves a delicious breakfast daily. He is super nice, and very helpful. I love staying there when I am in the area.

Amazing host who takes time to enjoy conversation! His culinary skills are exceptional! Having stayed in the house for 6 days we enjoyed many of our Host Will's exceptional breakfast experiences. |Very clean. Period decor. Highly recommend experiencing over 3 days. |Note: there is a room with twin beds attached to a large room with its own bathroom and shower on the 2nd floor for a family as well as 2 more large rooms where 2 bathrooms are available at end of hall. There is also a 1st floor bedroom with a private bath. I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.

We stayed there this past Saturday evening just for the night. Very clean and beautiful. Love the Victorian style. We did not have breakfast. Rooms where very spacious. Sat in the dining room just to hangout awhile and the sitting room, up the spiral stairs.

The Golden Oak Inn Bed & Breakfast is an outstanding place to stay in Troy PA area. We stayed in June 2025 while visiting family. It is a very charming old Victorian home that has been well maintained and yet it still has all the authentic wood features, doors and stairs. It is decorated with beautiful period furniture, wallpaper, wall art, books, lace, and other interesting decor items that give you that authentic Victorian era feeling. It's very neat, clean, well organized, comfortable, and homey in the room and in the common areas. The bed linens and towels were clean, fresh and plentiful too. Will is the owner/host and is a super friendly person who goes out of his way to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable of Troy and the surrounding areas. The

I hadn't been back to Troy, PA in decades and found this gem after a short Google search. I stayed with my best friend from school days and we rented the twin bed room called "The Clara Barton Room." The price was reasonable considering you get a gourmet cooked breakfast prepared by Will who is also a trained chef. The breakfast has many courses and the presentation is second to none. He really knocks the meal out of the park and the dining room plays soft music while you enjoy your meal lovingly prepared by Will. The breakfast is so filling that we skipped lunch after eating it both mornings.
