The Golden Bull

I like Mexican food. I saw this one in a search and it is phenomenal! Three huge overflowing tacos (I had chorizo) rice and beans. Chips and salsa. Fantastic Mexican food out of a truck. Outdoor tables to eat. A bit out of the way but totally worth it. Go here for tacos, you will not be disappointed.

I don't normally leave reviews for places I've never been to, but I'm starting to think this business doesn't even exist. I've called multiple times and can never get anyone to answer. I've driven all the way out there three times now to see for myself, and still not a soul to be seen. I'm amazed that this business has already received so many positive reviews. I finally managed to get a hold of a person a few days ago on the phone who only answered "hello?", only to be hung up on as soon as I asked what their hours were. I would love to take down this review and replace it with five stars and a glowing recommendation, but until it's proven to me that this place isn't just a figment of my imagination, my one-star review will remain.

Everyone needs to go give them business, this is the real deal and I had been missing authentic and quality Mexican food since moving back from the west coast. Portions are generous, flavors are on point. So glad to have found this spot!

Awesome food truck a little ways out of Rutland proper. The big black bull statue out front makes it easy to find. $21 for three soft tacos in one tray, chips with pico cheesy beans and rice in another. Easily enough food for two. Tacos are made with two corn tortillas; essential because they are absolutely loaded. The char on the steak really added some flavor and stood out. The shredded pork and diced chicken were solid. Topped with guac and a lime wedge for each. Will absolutely come back to try one of the other interesting things on the menu.

I am impressed with this place. Good tacos that I wouldn’t expect to get in Vermont. The flavor is great and was the perfect amount of spice for my medium spicy palette. You get a lot of food in the taco plate so well worth the cost. The guacamole balances out the meat, very nice!
