The Garfield Cafe

I ordered the avocado toast for $12. On the menu it said it was supposed to come with avocado, goat cheese, arugula, cherry tomatoes and an egg. Apparently they were out of both arugula and cherry tomatoes. The cook should have let the server know when they realized they were out of these things so I could order something else. Instead I paid $12 for something completely different that honestly did not taste good. There was way too much goat cheese under the eggs, I couldn't taste anything else.

What's not to like about the Garfield Cafe!!! The place has the vibe of an old school diner, yet comfortable, cozy & super clean Beyond the generous portions and the biggest salads is a complete 5 star staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Last night a chef sat us as the young charming hostess was super buzy with cashing ppl out and carryout. Within a minute of being seated Dawn served us water and took a beverage order. Dawn was truly the dining room point person, visiting every customer. Rebecca our server was a treat and a winsome personality. Beyond our food, which was excellent, we lacked for not one thing. Stopped in for breakfast, will definitely return for lunch and dinner. The French Omlette was delicious! Large portions, tasty food, great coffee, as I drink mine black, that's real coffee☺️ The staff is welcoming and friendly. If you're in the area, you need to stop here for your next meal.

Thought we would try dinner here tonight after having had a wonderful breakfast here a few months ago… all I can say is Do NOT order the chicken pot pie😑 It was a soggy crust, ( im sure microwave heated before serving), the gravy was almost absent making the chicken pieces and vegetables unable to eat. It unfortunately looked and tasted like day old leftovers. The service was great, the mash potatoes and salad as sides were very good as well.

Large portions and delicious food. Interesting place that serves food and alcohol drinks. They have cake and pie in the case. Good atmosphere and great service. Would recommend eating here. Seems to have an older clientele, saw several vehicles pulling up to the door to let people with mobility issues out. If the old people like it then it must be good!
