RJ's Corned Beef Deli

Small family run Corned Beef restaurant. Fabulous food for a great price. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. If you're craving corned beef, look no further! I had the corn beef sliders and a bowl of corn beef soup. Delicious doesn't do their generous portions justice! Nor does scrumptious, but the smile on your face and the yummy in your tummy will!

So I was real excited to try this place after my grandmother tried it and said it was good. Well unfortunately today, I was highly disappointed. I purchased 1 large and 1 medium corned beef sandwich and they were basically inedible. They were full of fat all throughout. As a corned beef sandwich lover I know you can’t avoid some fat in your corned beef but this was a mouthful of fat in every bite. Good side of things the meat was very flavorful and not dry like some places.

This place came highly recommend on Facebook. I was in the area and stopped. The cornbeef was perfectly seasoned. It was so tender and delicious. The owner is such a nice person . I was able to taste his secret recipe for sweet and sour sauerkraut. It was fabulous! Not to sweet and not to biting, just perfect. The potatoe salad and macaroni salad tasted like an old family recipe. Dont forget the soup! It too was very delicious! I highly recommend a visit if want to have a wonderful taste experience!! A big surprise....Detroit Better made products and Fago Soda and who can forget Vernors!!

We finally checked out RJ’s Corned Beef Deli in Clinton Twp and wow—this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the guys working were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were also super knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through the menu, which we really appreciated. We were even offered samples of their house-made sauerkraut and soup—both were delicious and such a nice touch. The meat was fresh, perfectly thin-sliced, and packed with flavor, exactly how corned beef should be. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Great food, great service, and an overall awesome experience. We will definitely be back. Thanks to whoever recommended RJ’s—so glad we listened!

My husband stopped in today for the first time, and he brought me home a sub and soup. The beef barley soup was delicious! It's not often you find places that make homemade soup. The delicious sub was great too! The dressing for the sub was top-notch too, again homemade not a prebought packet. My husband said the owner made the sub and was extremely friendly. My husband got a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and loved it too. We will be back.
