The Frozen Pelican

My first (and last) time eating here... A picture is worth a thousand words. We ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, Chicken Tenders and Fries. This is what was given to us... the fries were good... the Chicken Tenders were like hard hockey pucks... and well, that sandwich may have been alright IF it had more than a literally pinch of meat on it. But I definitely wouldn't consider this sandwich to be a Philly Cheese Steak... those sandwiches are piled high with meat, onions, peppers, mushrooms and melted cheese!! Just saying. And the customer service could really use improvement. Cute little dinning room area though.

I saw a review on a facebook group and then watched the youtube video on this place.Never knew it existed all the time that i've come through melrose. After seeing the amazing burgers hot dogs and sausages, you know, we had to try it And we got there shortly after they opened for lunch. As their open for breakfast, then there is an hour gap. Where they are closed, and then they reopen 11 o'clock for lunch. We ordered a few different items. Some nachos, a sausage dog, a hot dog and then my double Smashburger, which now holds the title of My TOP BURGER spot!! It is a must have!!! They have all kinds of toppings. Best hole in the wall in town! Best bang for buck. You can taste every red cent in all the food. Bit small indoor area but it gives it that cute small town feel. Had a nice conversation with the table next to us while we waited. Service , price and quality are all 10/10 make sure you take time to pull in and try something new.

I love this place. I take my daughter here when she deserves a nice reward for good behavior. The ladies have always been nice to me and especially Jessica. I haven't been able to try a burger yet but their lemonade, hot dogs, ice cream, shaved ice is amazing. I recommend the Frozen Pelican to anybody

This is now my goto place for a damn good burger. They have a good variety of toppings for thier burgers. I had a triple with lettuce tomato grilled onions and pineapple. The burger was huge and took all I had to eat it. The fries were crispy crinkle cut with just enough salt. I also had a shaved ice that was very good and it was the first one that I've ever had that had flavor all the way to the bottom. The staff was very friendly and added to a great experience.
