Gator Bait Family Sports Grill

I never had alligator before so I did not know what to expect. But, I ordered the gator bites basket and a shrimp. Both were very generous portions and delicious. Large menu of options, friendly servers, and casual atmosphere. Very welcoming and would definitely go back.

Went here for the first time on February 7 2026. Our waiter was Cherise and she was amazing. She checked on us often to see if we needed anything. Kept our drinks full at all time. We order the Fried Pickle, Fried Mushrooms, and Fried Banana Peppers as the appetizer. All 3 were amazing. Then for the main courses we got the Red Fish, Chicken Wrap, and Po Boy. All of us at the table enjoyed all of it. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. And will be going back in the future when we get the chance.

Best food I’ve had since moving to Florida 5 years ago! Best Gator, best fried shrimp, best hush puppies ever. Wanda our server was the best. We’re kicking ourselves we’ve never been here before but we will definitely be back!

Had to sit outside because they were filled inside. Our server sat us and got our drink order fairly quick too. We sat for almost 2 hours waiting on food and a server to come out a total of 4 times. We got the salmon and a blt I believe I was over charged on. Portions are small. Food was cold, and $18 for the cold stiff bacon sandwich I received over the club blt I ordered had me a bit heated. Our server tried to tell us the food was ready when we tried to pay for our appetizer and drinks, pretty sure he forgot it in the window. Really want this place to do well, hopefully they have more than 3 staff members next time 🫤

The gator tail is tender it has great flavor. The grouper I had was okay. My son had a salmon salad that he said was phenomenal. The fried pickles were on point.
