The Frog & Bear Bed and Breakfast

Betty made us feel like family. We enjoyed our visit in May with friends. She is a gracious host that offers a warm and relaxing B&B experience. The Frog & Bear is quintessential Victorian as noted by the detail in each room. Rooms are private, comfortable, and meet every need for the traveler. Guests partake in a wonderfully prepared breakfast while enjoying the company of friends. Breakfast was more lengthy than we expected in true fashion of Victorian times, however we enjoyed the slower pace and look forward to that again on our next visit. We highly recommend a stay with Betty at the Frog & Bear.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at The Frog & Bear! We are already thinking about going back this fall! This was our first bed and breakfast (as we typically stay in hotels) and after our stay, I think this might be the start of a new adventure of b&b! Everything was absolutely perfect. Betty was so nice and made sure we were comfortable, the rooms were not only clean, but elegant and filled with character. The best part (all of it was good though) was the breakfast. Wow - can Betty cook! We can't wait to come back!

At first the frogs and bears everywhere took me off guard, but they were place in an organized fashion and it wasn't actually too over the top. Once we got the history of why, it was fun and even better. The room was great, nice to have a hot bathtub to soak in that my over six foot tall height could enjoy was amazing. The food was great and the hist went out of her way to ensure my food restrictions were not an issue. We would definitely recommend to stay here. Nice and peaceful.

We absolutely loved staying here and cannot wait to return the next time we visit. Betty was so nice and super knowledgeable about the area and all that was happening- We went to places we didn't even know about and loved it! Our room was gorgeous and so comfy :) Breakfast was so delicious I still dream about the amazing popovers!

We stayed two nights at this wonderful place and were amazed at the quality of the breakfasts! They were beautifully served and no details were spared. We enjoyed our visits with Betty so much and would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a special stay in a cozy old home. Thank you, Betty, for a nice memory. You are an exceptional hostess.
