Off the Rails Bistro

Visited Off the Rails Bistro tonight. Our experience was ☆☆☆☆☆. The service was superb. This was the best dinner I have had at any restaurant, hands down. Beef tenderloin/filet medallions with garlic mashed potatoes, summer squash and carrot with a red wine demi-glace. Prepared perfectly and not a drop left on either plate. Oh, and dessert choices difficult to decide. We had the Apple Crème Brûlée and Lava Cake with a berry and caramel sauce. Before we left, we already planned our next visit! Lake City, you scored with Off the Rails Bistro!

The food is phenomenal! Truly unlike anything else in the area. The walleye is to die for. Marbin is always trying new things like this weekends special, the swordfish, and really exposes the community to all kinds of fantastic food we don’t normally get in town. It’s very clear how passionate he is about cooking and providing a great experience for his customers! Lake City is lucky to have Off The Rails!

Best tuna I’ve had in a while. Wife had the salmon. Wonderful bread pudding.

Food here is incredible. So far we’ve tried four dishes, and definitely would order all four again. For breakfast, the eggs Benedict is really good, and so are the specials. The chicken pasta and tuna were both amazing for dinner.

What an amazing experience! My friend and I went here for dinner on a Saturday evening. The food was absolutely delicious. The presentation of the dishes, desserts, and drinks were memorable! You can tell they put a lot of effort and thought into each dish they serve! I was very impressed with the patience and knowledge of our server. She was extremely pleasant and she didn't make us feel like we had to rush. I absolutely cannot wait to come back and try a different dish. So good! So delicious! Wonderful people! It was an all-around perfect experience from being seated until we were finished.
