The Fox and the Farmhouse

What a great place! We loved the Aspen room. Darlene and Dan have thought of EVERYTHING in providing for their guests comfort. Jericho the concierge kitty handled his duties as well and was a frequent visitor to our room, providing comfort as we were away from our own home cats. We highly recommend this place and hopefully will have a chance to return in the future.

We stayed here in the Maple Room when we came up for a birthday party. The room was super clean, the bed comfy, and decorated beautifully. The host is very hospitable and the resident cat Jericho is very friendly and loves to come say hello. We let him come in for a visit and he was loving it. All around the experience gets a 100%. I would recommend The Fox and the Farmhouse for anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had the most adorable little suite with a small kitchenette. We were traveling with a 4 year old and they supplied an air mattress with a cute little teepee at the top, a stuffie to cuddle, and toys to entertain him. There were even amenities like phone chargers and a noise machine. 11 out of 10 — highly recommend!

This place is a little slice of heaven. Darlene and her husband have created such a blissful and warm space. It is cozy, inviting, and gives that feeling of being home. During the holidays it is all the more magical. Even at night time, it is just so lovely (see the pics!). I highly recommend staying at the Fox and Farmhouse whenever you have a trip in the area. If you are coming for a UGA game, call ahead, they get booked quickly (Go Dawgs!!).

Southern Hospitality meets Luxury! We had a wonderful staycation in Winder, visiting Finished Goods Brewery for a friend's 50th. The town is cute as can be, with many culinary delights, and The Fox and the Farmhouse accommodations were within a short walk. We had a last-minute dog sitter cancel with the flu, so I emailed Darlene, and we were able to bring our well-behaved pup along for the visit! The park across from the Inn is super safe and features a winding path, open space, and the coolest playground I've ever seen—the signs said there would be a dog park soon, so we can't wait.
