CAST IRON CREAMERY - Scoop Shop & Waffle Bar

This place is AMAZING. Cute and quaint inside and really nice owners. We got the white rose ice cream on top of a waffle and the lemon blueberry and campfire waffle sundaes. All of it was awesome and we will definitely be back to try more! I recommend trying the white rose ice cream, like nothing we have had before!

Stopped by Cast Iron creamery on a Wednesday evening and cannot recommend it enough. I got the coffee and butter pecan flavors in a waffle bowl at the recommendation of Carol, who scooped out ice cream and was very generous with having us try multiple flavors. My friend got the lemon crisp on a cone which was “maybe the best ice cream I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of ice cream”. Prices were super reasonable for a good amount of ice cream. Carol was so friendly and kind. We live about 40 minutes away in a Athens, but will definitely be back, this time with a cooler to transport some pints home!

I loved it here!! I got “the campfire” and I tell you what it was the smoothest most delicious ice cream I’ve ever had!!! I will never go to another ice cream shop again. This is becoming my new weekend ritual!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️I also want to give props to him with his daughter I’m guessing. She did such a great job and I’m so glad we have a place like this in winder!!

Loved the place. Interesting flavors to try from. Would love to try some more flavors soon. The place has a warm welcoming vibe to it. Great to hangout for a quick ice cream trip.

We visited this brand new ice cream shop in Winder today. They appear to be using homemade ice cream and have some unique flavors which is refreshing. They also have some pretty cool sundaes that are served on a homemade hot waffle and delicious toppings. Overall our entire crew enjoyed their selections and we would recommend giving this ice cream shop a try. Pro tip: this would make a perfect date night desert stop.
