The Fogg Library

If you like your libraries to feel like museums this is your spot, just not open every day so check hours.

Smaller than other libraries in the area, lending to easy browsing through the bookshelves as well as a cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to check out the events here in the future. The only thing that could have been better about my experience here was the elevator, which seems to run at an alarmingly slow pace.

I was excited to have a library within walking distance to my new home. I walked over, about a mile at 3pm on a Wednesday and it was closed, didn’t open til 5pm that day. It has very strange hours; Monday 1PM-9PM, Tuesday 1PM-9PM, Wednesday 5PM-9PM and Thursday 9AM-5PM. It’s closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The library section is EXTREMELY small, I was honestly shocked at how small and what little books they had. The building is very large yet the book section is a short hallway of sorts with 5-6 rows of bookcases on each side as you walk to the end of the room. The bookcases are about 5 feet in length with about 5 shelf’s of books. In comparison to the other libraries it is tiny. There also isn’t any computer access, inclusive of a computer catalog to see what books are available there

Quaint library setting.... not huge selection in house...but they are more than willing to order items from ocln and hold them for you here

It's closed. The website says it is open, but they've got signs up CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Please fix the website.
