Customer Reviews
Wonderful restaurant. The staff is great, the food is wonderful and consistently good. I’ve gone here for years, and finally got around to writing a review. The things I would recommend are the biscuit bake, every hash available , and the lobster omelet. I’m sure the other omelets are great, but their lobster omelet is unbelievable. It’s packed with lobster. I really feel I get my moneys worth with that dish, but of course I know lobster (or any seafood) omelet might not be for everyone. But it’s done exceptionally well if that’s what you like . Coffee is also great here. I just love this restaurant, and I almost always go for breakfast .
I hate to do this but we were so underwhelmed that I have no choice. Our friends rave about this place so I’m hoping this was a one time fluke but that’s hard to imagine. It’s worth noting that our server Ashley was excellent but that just didn’t make up for the food. Brussels: 3/3 - they brought them out in ~2 minutes and they were cold. These were clearly another tables or made in advance. Fried Green Tomatoes: 2/5 - also came out in 2 minutes and were cold. Too much breading. White Bean Soup: 2/5 not a fan Crab Cakes: 3/5 - not bad but I suspect it was because everything else was not good Goat cheese salad: 3/5 - it was ok but not that great Unfortunately we wont be coming back.
My wife and I dined here this past Tuesday evening, and let me just say — what a sleeper hit of a restaurant. We were greeted at the door by a kind lady in a pink dress who immediately gave us a good first impression. I asked for a booth (because let’s be honest, booths > tables), and she kindly let us know one would be ready shortly. We waited about ten minutes while it dried — no biggie. I’d rather wait for a clean booth than slide into someone else’s leftover ranch dressing. Once seated, we were welcomed by Eric, our waiter for the evening. Eric was on point — respectful, attentive, and handled his job with care and pride. I’ve worked in customer service before, so I try to judge fairly — not every waiter has the same style, but Eric clearly knew what he was doing. Drinks stayed full,
Great brunch, the place was packed! We went for lunch, not realizing on Sunday that that is brunch and that they close at two. Always up for a good brunch experience. We had a great time. We actually sat and ate at the bar. My husband chose the medium Bloody Mary, which was delicious, I opted for the mimosa flight (there were 6 or 8 options to choose from). for meals, my husband chose the Montecristo and I chose the shrimp and grits. The bartender assured us both were delicious and they were. The shrimp and grits or different than any I’ve ever had as it included wilted, spinach and tomatoes, but it was very, very good. Our bartender was attentive, service was fairly quick, and our experience was great. Would definitely go again
The worst breakfast spot in Fort Mill, I started eating my food but had to stop for this picture which shows thier idea of medium eggs, if I had more time I would have gone back, but just know you go here no telling what they will serve you I've had other experiences that were not favorable with them, but this was the last straw I now know they are consistently bad. What makes me even more upset is I gave a tip which I don't agree with on carry outs because why? I did however and will not do it again, particularly when the food may be trash.
