I cannot say enough good things about this local, home-based sourdough business. It is truly the only bread I eat now — the quality, flavor, and consistency are that good. You can tell it’s made with care and attention to detail, not overly mass-produced. Today was actually my first time doing the pickup myself in Tega Cay (someone usually grabs it for me), and the process was incredibly simple and seamless. In and out, quick, easy, and well organized. Supporting a local small business that delivers this level of quality and convenience is a win all around. If you appreciate real sourdough and want something fresh, local, and reliably excellent, this is absolutely worth it.

Bread I don’t have to feel guilty about enjoying? I’m officially addicted. The texture alone is unreal— crispy edges with the fluffiest, most satisfying interior. Time and time again, the quality never fails. I’ve tried nearly every single flavor, and each one feels thoughtfully curated, not just baked. One of the biggest surprises for me was the sandwich loaf. I didn’t think I’d notice much of a difference, and I definitely didn’t think I could justify paying nearly double what we normally spend on bread— but once you taste it, you can’t experience bread the same way again. It was such an easy process and it was fantastic picking up my order and having my whole car smell like fresh baked bread. My whole family loves it. It is hard to find really really good bakeries around and this far exceeded any expectation. All of it is amazing Especially the brown butter sourdough cookies.

Absolutely loved the Organic Sourdough bread loaf I got from Fort Mill Sourdough Co. Convenient pick up locations and helpful reminding system. My family appreciates the fresh and organic ingredients. It makes delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, toast and a filling snack. Or if you like eating bread with your soups, it is a perfect dipping bread!

I’m so glad I found Fort Mill Sourdough Co. Coming from California, where good sourdough is easy to find, I had pretty high standards — and this place really delivers. The bread is fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried several of the breads, along with the dip mix, butter and cookies, and everything has been consistently good. You can tell care goes into what they make. I also appreciate that the owner values family and wholesome ingredients. It feels good to support a local business like that. I’ll definitely be back.
