The Fix

As a fellow vegan restaurant owner, my expectations are pretty high whenever we eat out. The Fix is our go to spot for vegan eats in KC. They absolutely NEVER miss. Great food, friendly service and a clearly marked menu for those that have other dietary restrictions. Don’t skip the sweets.

We tried The Fix KC for brunch and I’m already planning our next visit. Everything we ordered was incredible — the pancakes were fluffy and perfectly sweet, the sausage & gravy biscuits were pure comfort food, and the French toast was spot-on. We also built our own burger and it was loaded with flavor. The shakes (Oreo, chocolate, and strawberry) were all amazing — rich, creamy, and the kind you don’t want to share. Dining in is self-service, but the setup is easy and the food comes out fast. You’d never guess any of it was vegan. The Fix KC is a total win for both plant-based eaters and anyone who just loves great food.

Comfortable and hip space, order at the counter and they bring it to you. We had the chicken fried “chicken” and kimchi “chicken” sandwich. Everything was so delicious and flavorful all served hot; brief wait. The breading on the chicken was crunchy, generous sides of mashed potatoes and fries respectively. The green beans were fresh and tasty! And my husband liked it too!

This is funky and fun vegan food! Everything is plant based. My husband ate with us and he is a meat eater and enjoyed his meal. You will not be lacking the decadence of comfort food here. It is so yummy! I had the Nashville Hot "Chicken" sandwich. It was fire! It had hot sauce, pickles, macNcheese, ranch on a brioche bun. All of it was made in house and all plant based. This is really quality goodness. Do not miss out. It is casual, cool, the food is good, and vegan.

Have been wanting to try The Fix for a while now, finally made it down for a lunch date, and so glad I did! Adorable spot with an eclectic and welcoming vibe! We couldn’t decide with so many options so split the Avocado TLT and Carolina Chicken Sammie. Both sandwiches were huge and came with an abundant side of fries. The Carolina Chicken Sammie was crispy, smokey, and the slaw on top hit the spot 🤤 Bought a chocolate chip and cranberry scone to bring home but devoured before a picture 😝 Cannot WAIT to return for the weekend brunch and mozzarella sticks
