The Five Tides

Great little State Park Cafe. Limited hours - just the weekends. Service was quick and friendly. Food was tasty. Pricing was good for a state park restaurant. It was nice that we were able to ride our bikes here from the campground to grab a bite to eat.

Visited the Assateague Outfitters store adjoining Five Tides. Nice selection of Assateague Island and Assateague Outfitters apparel, beach accessories, souvenirs, plush animals, postcards and stickers, & camping essentials. Cashier was great to talk with & shared stories of OC & Assateague happenings.

Stopped here for a late lunch after visiting assateague. The restaurant is nice right off the beach really would be convenient if you were staying on that beach and needed a drink or a snack. The prices were pretty high but not uncommon for that area. Our food came out quick. We were able to eat it on the outside deck which was very nice atmosphere. The cashier was okay not the friendliest. Food was pretty good My boyfriend said his Monte Cristo was delicious. Refills were $1 for the drinks. There is a cute little souvenir shop connected to the little restaurant which was pricey but had some cute things. The parking attendant for this area was super kind to us let us park for free for a half hour so we could enjoy a meal here. I recommend this place for a quick bite they did have ice cream

We had a wedding on the beach and this restaurant prepared a great catered reception menu. We were the first and the food was great and the care they gave us was superb. We are glad the wedding and reception were all right there in the park!!!

Small place but filled with character & good foods! No burgers but other delicious choices. Seasonal place opens summer till October. Staff is sharp and considerate.
