Been two times and I’m hooked. The shrimp po’ boy has been my fav so far but everything is tasty ! The shrimp etouffee pictured is spicy and how you wish paella would taste like with a Cajun twist. The generous portion of seasoned fries and tasty burger is also pictured. As someone who is often disappointed by Flordia food , seems like you can’t go wrong with this place!
This is a food truck where you easily drive 30 mins from your home to come and experience the flavors of this Cajun-Creole food. You will not be disappointed. I tried the red beans & rice bowl with blackened chicken and a cup of gumbo. There were bold flavors and a very nice spice every bite. This isnt just your average food truck. Go and get it.
My good friend The Honest Food Guy told me I haaaaad to check out Chef Nate at the Fat Raccoon Eatery. Oh man, it was great advice. I had the blackened catfish po boy and the gumbo. The po boy was very good. Slightly to much bread to fish, bit it was very tasty and a large portion. I came from church to the food truck, and when I tried the gumbo I experienced Jesus the second time in one day. The gumbo was so delicious I could have bathed in it. Get the gumbo. You won't be disappointed.
Chef Nate is a talented and personable Chef. Everything he makes is beyond delicious! My husband is a Chef and we both highly recommend The Fat Raccoon Eatery. The gumbo, beans and rice, fries, and the Cajun burger are outstanding. He and his wife have a new Sous Chef added to the family too! Great people and some of the best Cajun food I've ever had!

It's also a way to find places you've maybe never heard of! The time is here. It's time! First, this is a moving truck, so there is a schedule. Second of all, we need to make this place famous as well as Chef Nate. This was an absolutely show stopping out of this world dish but that is not all. I tried his burger, gumbo, and fries as well. The blackened chicken red beans and rice was marvelous. The only detail keeping this from a 9.5 or higher was the spice level. It wasn't crazy hot BUT was a little more spicy that I personally want. This is the real deal. The flavor profile, love, and care in this dish will change the way you look
