The Farms Deli and Meat Counter

It pains me to write this but hope ownership appreciates the honest feedback because this neighborhood favorite has so much potential. Sure it’s much more expensive than any nearby grocery store but worth paying extra to have a nice, clean neighborhood spot to pick up great deli, a last minute ingredient or bottle of wine. It has steadily declined & now seems like a hangout for a bunch of guy friends who are staff, with tv screens to keep them entertained. Outside & in, it is not well maintained (dirty, torn plastic table covers you’d expect at a food truck, chipped dirty tile floors) and seems to now be a venue for workers who would stop at a food truck. Went here for lunch and let me tell you I never seen a premade cold burrito for 15 that’s crazy 😅 I decided to get some food 9.99 a pound! Ps. The plate weighs 1/4 of a pound 😂 not worth it at all chicken was dry and cold and the Mac n cheese was overcooked shame on you all honestly not ever going back to this place for sure

We love visiting the The Farms Deli and Meat Counter! This is a clean, well-organized and well-stocked grocery store in the neighborhood. Highly recommend stopping in for snacks, beverages or other grocery items.

Wonderful store. Service like it was 1950. Such friendly people who get to know you. Although it is a small store, they always seem to have what I need.

Suggested their burrito special of the day (vs getting our normal Turkey or ham sandwich). I have to say I was quite sure with the $15/ea price tag vs $10 sandwich and literally one of the plainest burritos I’ve ever had. Just super disappointing. This guy was so hung ho in us getting them that as soon as we said okay. He threw a wrapped one up on the case…I guess that was the sign. I’ll never let someone suggest something here again. As Latinos (and the worker), it’s disgraceful.
