The Fabled Farmer

We first came to the Fabled Farmer a year ago on our anniversary for lunch and had the wild rice soup. It was delicious and the service was great. So when we were planning what to do for our 25th wedding anniversary this year, Fabled Farmer lunch date was chosen. I went in early to ask if I could set up a surprise for my husband and decorate a table for lunch. The person in charge was very accommodating, and even had her baker bake extra large carrot cake muffins for the occasion. I had the wild rice soup and signature salad. The salad was so fresh and delightful. My husband had a Thai lunch bowl and enjoyed it as well. The "cherry" on top was the carrot cake muffins. I highly recommend saving some room for dessert and treating yourself to a piece of carrot cake.

Hands down one of the best small local places I've eaten for breakfast! The food was excellent - truly top notch, the service was equally as wonderful. They were on top of everything, didn't skip a beat. Incredibly pleasant and such a cute vibe inside too! I was there with my 4 girlfriends for a little girls getaway weekend and we were offered recommendations from the menu and even given a bakery item on the house when one of the 5 meals was just taking a little longer than the others. We certainly didn't mind the food taking extra time as we were in no rush at all but it was really nice to feel so taken care of. This is a must stop every time I'll be passing through Fergus in the future now, hands down cannot say enough good things!

First time here and had an amazing experience. Food was fresh and great combination of flavors. Amanda has an amazing customer service. Definitely recommend!

Wow! First time here. This place makes me wish I came to Fergus more often! Great food, quick. Great service. Healthy AND delicious. Cool atmosphere. Definitely a place worth going out of your way to find!

High hopes exceeded! Stopped by here on the way through town and could not be happier. The fresh pressed juice was delicious, the sweet potato bowl (I stole some bites from my husband) and breakfast sandwich were both hearty and clean, and my toddler (who can be bit picky) loved their kids farmer plate. The service was warm and beyond exceptional. The food and the check came out quickly and at the exact right time. I hope The Fabled Farmer sticks around for a long time. It is exceptional.
