12/7/25 6 PM There were approximately 32 of us for an after show event. Our waiter was excellent (sorry I didn't catch his name). Yes it took a while for our main meals to arrive but they all came out together. The food was hot and delicious. I used to come to this pub more often when my husband was alive. In 15+ years I have never had a bad experience. Kudos to all the staff for the excellent time.

Went for the food cause my dad use to eat here. Friendly and knowledgeable servers. Great French onion soup(one of the best I've had flavor wise). The fries are crispy. The roundhouse burger is great... the burger meat is very tender, melt in your mouth. The brewed iced tea is perfect. The peanutbutter pie is also good with a thick chocolate cookie crust. Good with allergies and food restrictions. 10/10 I'm eating here again.

Old style historic hotel in the tristate town of Port Jervis. Very short walk from the rail station. Checked in and paid at the bar on arrival and because that closed at 21:00 (on a Tuesday night), you might want to plan your arrival accordingly. ||The hotel's own site does make it clear that it's stairs only being an old building with no rooms on the ground floor. Room was fairly basic. No extra blankets or bedding on quite a chilly night in May. There was heating and aircon. Maybe the ceiling fan was there as a reminder of what things were like decades ago when aircon wasn't such a thing. Windows not that well soundproofed. Bathroom was again basic but nothing special. My wife and I had lunch here and it was excellent! We had the French onion soup, fig flatbread pizza and a burger. The portions were fine and the bill very fair. Some of the other reviews mentioned that there weren't any vegan options and they only left one star. If you rolled into a pub and expected a vegan option then I'd say you're going to spend a great part of your life miserable. Don't take it out on the rest of the world!

My wife and I went for an early dinner with 4 relatives we haven't seen in quite a while. We were seated in a smaller room, no other customers. It was very relaxed atmosphere, quiet and comfortable. We spent 2 to 3 hours catching up and we were never pressured. The staff was awesome, especially Tabitha our server. The food was great. We had an overall great experience.
