The Electric - Bluff Park

We initially thought the Electric was a sandwich shop, but it's so much more! Bar and hangout vibes abound, with retro video games, a spacious patio, and plenty of drink options, including cocktails. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, as well. Ordered a pub sub with a side of tomato soup (upcharge for that substitution, fyi) and the Islander flatbread customized with a hot honey drizzle. All were great! Toppings for the flatbread were good, but not particularly high quality (pineapples, for example, were canned). The sub was in fact served hot, which was unexpected but welcome, and absolutely loaded with meat abd toppings! Unclear which of their other sandwiches are also hot, and which are cold. Be sure to ask if that matters to you!

The atmosphere was a great casual, lunch vibe, with a little hip-ness! The food was phenomenal. We loved our sandwiches, soup, and the nachos were delicious!

Waited 55 minutes for two sandwiches and a kids cheese pizza. Finally got food and it was cold. It was not very busy. I will not be going back. If you have plenty of time to kill and a portable toaster oven to reheat your food it might be okay. Wife asked for no mayo due to extreme egg allergy. There was mayo on the sandwich.

Chill place to have soup, sandwich, drinks and we watched football. Great taste for the soups (tomato curry over the French onion). Enjoyed the velvet Elvis cocktail. Happy they have a wide variety of beverages including local ones. Will return.

I have to recommend The Electric's take on the Reuben and chili (add the sausage for the whole, wow, experience). Nice beer selection too. *** Notice - the Pub Sub is my new favorite! If, like Joey on Friends you love sandwiches, don't miss this deliciously decadent experience. Like no sandwich you've ever had.
