The Driveway Inn

The food is to die for—it’s hard to find a venue with scallops in upstate. The atmosphere is perfect given the town and clientele. The restaurant is clean and even has a jukebox! The service is phenomenal—all staff are extremely friendly. Their prices are generous and speak to their care and concern for their customers given the current market and the insane overhead of the food and beverage industry. Their outdoor pavilion was an amazing addition to our hometown, Palermo, and the best place to spend your Tuesday nights. Could not recommend DWI more.

No kids menu but the food is amazing. Best prime rib ive ever had, the aujus was on point. Rib very tender. Side salad is huge. Mac and cheese was really good. Just wish they had a kids menu. Ate there twice this week. Ny strip was good and hubs said fish was great

We went to The Driveway Inn for the first time. We got seated right away. Our waitress was Skylar. She was very pleasant. She was very attentive to us and to all the other customers around us. I ordered the prime rib and was pleasantly surprised. The menu was well suited for my tastes buds. There was a lot of variety to choose from. The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. The food came out in record time. We had 2 starters, 3 meals and 1 desert. All under $100. I scanned around the room to see what everyone was getting and everything looked great and their portions were generous as well. Im definitely coming back!

This will probably be the last visit to this restaurant. Waited over 20 minutes to be seated and another 15 to place my order although the place was not at capacity. Fried cauliflower appetizer was very good. I ordered my burger medium rare and it came well done. I ordered mozzarella cheese and got American. Bacon was almost raw. Sent it back and got medium rare burger and mozzarella cheese but still very undercooked bacon. Staff was nice if not the most efficient. I ended up having the burger taken off the bill before paying and leaving. This is twice I've gotten subpar food and I won't risk a third time. This is regrettable because it is the closest place to where I live by far.

Wow, can I just say wow! My husband had the fish dinner and he ate all of it. Not something he usually does. The steak, mushrooms and mozzarella over Mac & cheese, totally delicious! I gave that dish a 15 stars! I will be going back on a Saturday to try their prime rib.
