Downtown Yachats. GREAT food and drinks, everything was good. Server suggested the Rueben, which ended up being a great choice. We had steamer clams, halibut tacos, crab salad, and the razor clams along with multiple cocktails.Dont pass up the Marionberry pie with ice cream.Great, cozy little spot. Adorable covered patio, although we sat inside.

So this is a hard review to write. The food was 5/5 and delicious. we had fish and chips, spicy sausage pasta dish, salmon and steak on the table everyone enjoyed their meals. Thanks cooks. My problem is with the server and the mandatory 20% auto gratuity added no matter what. Our server was a Young lady didn’t remember her name Lots of tattoos tho. She was very far from happy, didn’t check up on us at all and service was 0 out of 10. She had an attitude like we were inconveniencing her. So not worth the mandatory 20% tip. she made $50-60 of our table for what work, writing down 5 orders and a few drinks and delivering half the food that she forgot we’re it went? Dinner here tonight was delightful. Not only was the food delicious ( the seafood chowder and the salmon with sorrel cream sauce were delicious), but the staff were so pleasant, the decor was cute ( funky umbrellas hanging from ceiling), and the noise level was acceptable! You could actually have a conversation. There was also a very nice woman singing background songs - good voices and not overpowering. |Would definitely come back.

I ate here a few times on my recent trip to Yachats and will continue to come back when I visit this community. The service is phenomenal- Lewis was one of my servers and they provided great recommendations and menu clarity. For example, the ephemeral dream is a mushroom forward drink. It was delicious! However, before placing the order Lewis spent a few minutes describing the drink and its flavor notes and was spot on. The potato & prosciutto pizza was hearty and has a perfect balance of flavors and texture. Something to note is this place is really busy following sunset in the winter so be prepared to wait and if interested- get a beverage at the bar. You will never see such hardworking bartenders! It’s a small town and this place has a lovely, cozy vibe. However, it gets very busy on saturdays and servers were slow and clearly stretched. Some dishes had the distinctive previously frozen flavor while others seemed fresh and the dessert didn’t disappoint. Our party appreciated the heated back space and koi pond. Would come again on a slow afternoon if driving through.
