Luna Sea Fish House

We wanted local fare and heard this is the place to get it. We are so happy we made this stop. We ate in the outdoor building but the heaters made it comfortable. Our server was a character and helped us order. We got the fish and chips and fish tacos- all so good. Huge portions. The food was fast and hot. Not to be missed.

A local told me to eat here! BEST CHOICE. Excellent food. Exceptional price. Owned by a fisherman. I met an octogenarian who works there. He's just amazing. The young lady working there was great, Roll Tide! She gave great advice on food. Halibut and chips -delicious! I think if I lived in the area, I'd be a regular. Threw out my healthy habits and ate this delicious meal. The hot raspberry tea was nice. Love the environment and culture! Thank you! Returned 10/18/25- Terrific! More photos added!

If you want some good local fish, this is a great place! The fish is caught locally by the owner and is very fresh. Seat yourself, inside or outside, and someone will find you. There was live music which was great! Unfortunately, after our order was taken, we were forgotten until a waitress came by and asked if we were done. When we said we were still waiting for our food, you could see panic hit her face. Haha. She found our order and got our food to us very quickly. Hubby got fish and chips, I got fish tacos, and we shared a bowl of clam chowder. The portions are very generous and I could only eat one taco (I ordered 3). The food was delicious! After we were done, we went to pay for our meal but were told that our meal was comped since we had to wait so long. We were very appreciative of

Best fish and chips we have ever had and my husband is from New England!!! I actually don’t care for seafood and for some reason just decided to go for it and also got the fish and chips, halibut, and I loved it. I gobbled it down without talking too much. And my husband was very disappointed because he thought he was going to get the parts that I couldn’t eat :) Perfectly battered with very generous sizes of halibut and very good fries. Not greasy Love that the waiter had tons of personality but also provided amazing service and happy to help us every time we had a need The outside of the place is where the majority of the seating is and does look a little rundown but everything is very clean. Don’t let the looks deceive you.

Whenever I am in Yachats this is a go to spot for me! The seafood is fresh and delicious and the prices are reasonable for the portion size. Service here is quick even when they are pretty busy. In the past I have had their clam strips and chowder, this time I had a mixed seafood platter. I have never had anything here that I have not enjoyed. I can’t explain it but this place has a sense of charm to it with the outdoor seating- as a solo diner this location is great for people watching.
