The Drift In

We held a celebration of life at The Drift In for my late brother Mike on very short notice. The entire staff could not have been more warm and welcoming to (a very large!) family and group of friends. We are so grateful for the memories, thank you so much for a wonderful time

Menu was very good and reasonable prices. Its winter ! That said plates should be warmed, food got cold before i could get half way thru the meal. Please ! Use a thicker bacon, that was paper thin today! But i will come back for a second try

Good service. The deck has a view of the marshes. We like it and food is reasonable. They have darts. Sometimes live music. Fun! (One Chef request - the food is good! I’d personally love an update nachos … maybe something cool like a gruyere cheese truffle nacho (anything)… but not a velveeta sauce fan)

The layout of the restaurant is a huge improvement and the bar (and deck) now overlooks the Herring Brook. More welcoming now with the addition of a door on the front of the building. Menu is very pricey and a separate menu for the turn or a bar menu with more reasonable prices is required. Will update rating as required. UPDATE: New menu uploaded. New options added although still expensive (was charged extra for getting my meals "to go") and still lacking options for the turn. ***I will say that I have tried several options on the menu and the food is excellent.

We just had a post wedding brunch here last Saturday - 6/8. Everything was perfect! Food was unbelievably tasty and I grew up in competitive foodie Italian family. Service was impeccable and every detail was handled smoothly. We were on the outside patio on a clear crisp June morning with over 100 post wedding goers and everyone was thrilled.
