The Downunder Sports Pub

Came here after the Tavern didn’t open at 4. Glad I did. Atmosphere was more inviting than expected. As soon as I sat down I was greeted with a friendly bartender who asked if I was there for a drink or want a food menu. I ordered a Allagash White whist perusing the extensive menu. Ended up ordering the Fried Shrimps with a side of Bang Bang sauce. And I must say, it lives up to its name. BANG BANG… Shrimp was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. Bartender was attentive despite being a busy night. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the food and service and the price was reasonable…

Had a great time dining at the Downunder Sports Bar. I had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was yummy. Great drinks as well. I even went in the back room and played a few games of pool and then went out on the back balcony deck to finished my drinks with a breathtaking view. Thank you!

We have never been to the Downunder Sports Pub and we were extremely glad we checked it out! We ordered a bucket of beers. Can’t go wrong there. For our food, we ordered a pound of bone-in wings, the spicy garlic Parmesan. These were excellent! The house made ranch brought them to the next level! We had an order of mozzarella sticks, can’t go wrong there. The last thing we ordered was the bbq chicken nachos. Those were excellent! Drizzle a little bit of the house ranch on top and I must say you can eat this dish as your entire meal. The Downunder has plenty of seating plus that have a saloon bar where you can sit and eat or have a quick beer. There is a small arcade area out front with coin operated machines. The service was great, our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza on cauliflower crust which I have never had, so I was pretty skeptical as to whether I would like it. IT WAS PHENOMENAL! We also had wings which were pretty awesome too. The drinks were delicious...I have nothing but great things to say about this local restaurant. I will be back!
