My husband and I stopped in after a Google search for a place for lunch. I am so glad we did. The setting couldn’t be more perfect. We had a table outside, right by the lake. Our server was super friendly. We ordered onion rings and a Reuben sandwich. Both were good. Highly recommend!
Wonderful restaurant! Delicious food & atmosphere! The view of the lake is breathtaking. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner!
Absolutely love this location, (especially when the outdoor seating is open). The fried greenbeans are fantastic, theyre taco salad was surprisingly large and better than I could have hoped for! I wouldn't recommend the new England clam chowder. I'm not sure if it was a fluke the time I ordered it, or if its always made like this but there was a LOT of oil in it that didnt get better once stirred. It kept resurfacing to the top and separating. Thankfully, they handled the situation with grace, took the soup back & took it off my bill. The view of the lake is breathtaking regardless of time of year, though my favorite is the spring & fall before it gets too too hot outside.
Staying at a nearby campground we were able to take the bike trail to Glen Lake Rd. and then ride a short distance to this restaurant. Greeted nicely and promptly seated at a hi-top outside. Covered dining area right on the lake. Spectacular view to enjoy while eating your meal. Service was attentive and polite. I got what they call a grilled beet salad. It was outstanding. My wife enjoyed her fish sandwich as well. If I had any complaint at all it would be the New England Clam chowder I got as an app. It was bland. Not a big deal. If you like salads check out this picture of it and the view. Great place and you can take your boat to it as well.
Called ahead to ask if they could accommodate a bigger party and was told to come on down. As we arrived and spoke to nasty mannered hostess telling us they would not be able to sit us and no one in her staff would ever say to come on down . All this happened as she told a party of 6 with a dog she couldn’t accommodate them even when they too called ahead. Shocking to be treated in such a way without an apology as we were willing to wait but told not to bother. Don’t worry we won’t
