Jamo's Pub

Jamo’s in Lake George turned out to be a great winter festival stop, with a cozy Irish pub vibe and a guitarist playing up front. We were lucky to grab a nearby high-top, put in a few song requests, and enjoy the live music while we waited for our food. The mashed potato balls were the standout starter, fried perfectly and especially good with the honey sour cream dipping sauce. The cold Reuben was stacked high with flavorful turkey, and the chicken sandwich had a satisfying crunch with a nice zing from the chipotle aioli. We left feeling full and ended up hanging around for a while just to keep listening to the musician, which really made the visit memorable.

We decided to try Jamo’s as it was late and not much was open. Everything seems to close at 9:00pm. But not Jamo’s! I started with a great Whiskey Sour, and we ordered chicken fingers cooked in Jamo’s whiskey BBQ glaze, shepherds pie, and Mac N cheese. I honestly can’t say which one I liked better as all were amazing. The Shepard pie was juicy and delicious. The chicken fingers were crispy and tasty on the outside and juicy on the inside. And the Man N Cheese was incredible with a crunchy topping. And they guys were so nice and cool and served us great! All of this was after 10pm! Awesome!

We went here last night and had such a good time. Jamieson, the owner, treats his customers like friends and we felt that the minute we walked in and was served by a really nice guy (sorry, I didn’t catch his name). I had their amazing homemade chilli and my husband had the turkey club—both delicious and plentiful. The selection of beers was really good and we also met “2” the ice bar queen who is the coolest. If you’re looking for hometown fun where you feel welcomed this is your place! Will definitely be back. Thanks Jamieson!

It was our first time coming to Lake George, we drove down the street looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and Jamos came up with a good rating. We parked on the street and went in. We were greeted right away by who we know know was Jamo himself. Everyone there was amazing and we were so happy to have stopped. The one thing we wanted to take part in for winter festival was Glacier Golf, and guess who was sponsoring the event, you guessed it...Jamos! We signed up right away. The pork belly bites were out of this world! We ended u at Jamos all 3 days we were there. One thing that stands out to me, someone who also runs a business was the closeness of the staff. Nate the bartender was great. Very personable and fun. We got wings and they were one of the best I’ve had. They do cater to there clientele. I only eat the wings (no drumsticks) not only did they let me order the wings but I was able to try 2 different flavors. The whiskey ones and the dry rub ones. Not sure which one I liked better. Both were very good and flavorful. If you in lake George stop in. You won’t regret it.
