Ray’s Helova Deli

It really is an outstanding Deli. Such a cool throwback. Next level customer service. They have Boar's Head Meat(s) and Cheese(s), various house made deli casserole/cold salad choices - camping supplies, plenty of drink selections, frozen desserts/ice cream, coffee bar, boiled peanuts (I think?) - a little bit of everything, for everyone. You have got a big fan in Alabama.

Every time we come to Lake George, we stop at this deli at least three to four times a week. The food is just that good and honestly some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The Roast Beast is an easy recommendation. It also helps that the staff are always awesome.

Rays deli knocks it out of the park. From its deli to the fresh pasta salad, and soup, this place is the perfect stop for all your breakfast and lunch needs. I highly highly recommend you stop in to try their sandwiches and subs. Absolutely stellar!!!!!! Plus their drink selection is great. 10/10, I’ll be recommending this every time.

We placed an order for two hungry man breakfasts at this establishment. However, despite the name, the hungry man was left still hungry after consuming the meal. The breakfast included three eggs, some hash browns, one round sausage, and a sub bun. While the food was not exceptional, it was at least convenient. On a positive note, the store had a wide selection of items, offering everything one might need and more. We were able to purchase firewood for $10, and the fire starter provided worked wonderfully, making it easy to get our fire going.

Amazing sandwiches and amazing folks running the place. I found out why this place is so highly rated. We got 2 specialty sandwiches (not shown in the regular menu), one was the corned beef and the other Roast Beast. Both were packed and flavorful! We’re already planning on returning tomorrow to grab another sandwich for our trip back home!They also have some rare deli items like specialty pickles and other homemade food. In a world ruled by chain restaurants with bad food and terrible service, Ray’s Helova Deli is a ‘helova’ good place to grab some grub! P.S the owner has a small liquor store on the side of the deli. The lady there was also very kind & helpful!
