Celebrated my birthday at the Dock. First time visiting the restaurant and the highlight of my experience was the service, food, ambiance and Erik who exceeded my expectations. The staff are amazing, the food was delicious and the view spectacular! Well done 👌

The Dock in Newport Beach is the kind of place that quietly stuns you—from the floating dock and golden-hour views to the food, drinks, and warm hospitality that makes you want to linger just a little longer. We had the dreamiest sunset dinner, and Tiffany And made the whole night even better with her kind, attentive service and incredible recommendations. She even coordinated with the chef to customize my order exactly the way I wanted it—so rare to feel that genuinely cared for. And let’s talk cocktails. Asa, the mixologist, is a total artist behind the bar. Not only did he mix me a perfect Last Word with green Chartreuse, but he used Monkey 47 gin without me even asking. Every detail of our dinner was 10/10. The staff was extremely attentive to filling our drinks, bussing our table and just making our experience memorable. We had an amazing peach burrata and pesto salad and then scallops over risotto for the main course. Exceptional food and really enjoyed the outdoor patio on the bay. Can’t wait to go back for another date night!

There are only 14 tables, but the staff were wonderful. The prices demand it but you will get attentive service. And the ambience is spectacular. You get to sit by a dock with water right next to you. It is a very romantic place. They don’t have any loud music which is great. Their wine list is extensive. And with the corkage being $75 may as well try their wines. The cuisine is French, which I love. The scallops were perfect. I did not like the gravy as much as it tasted overly sweet. The pork loin was only OK because it could be more tender and it was a little dry. The brioche bread pudding is good though I make it better. I loved the mushroom soup.

The Spanish Crispy Octopus was the BEST octopus I've ever had! The sauce with the octopus was so delicious and flavorful! We stumbled upon The Dock while visiting Newport and the restaurant is such a gem. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly & kind. Our server Frankie was great, along with the rest of the team. I will be visiting Newport again just to come back to the dock! I can not wait to try the Duck, Fish Of The Day, & Lamb! Thank You!
