The Dam Landing

Have been wanting to try this place for a while, I can say we tried it. Can’t say we will be back. Server was decent, food was not fresh and we ordered our drinks first and had to repeatedly ask for them and still got it last. Apparently had to track down the bartender in a not busy restaurant. Brussel sprouts were good, but not crazy warm or fresh. We both got the breaded tenderloin, neither was fresh out of the fryer, fresh from under the heat lamp at best. The fries were basic, the pickle fries were decent.

Went here for our holiday family meet up today. Very surprised at how good everything was! I got wings and fries, my partner had a simple cheese and pepperoni pizza, my sister and mother had burgers with tots. Everything was great, the wings weren't tossed in sauce and didn't taste smoked like the menu says, but were still really good, and the house made buffalo was solid. Fries were delicious. Both my mom and sister liked their burgers. But the star was the pizza, absolutely great and none of us were expecting it. We will definitely be back, maybe even in the summer when it looks like they have outdoor seating and boats going across the lake.

This place a hidden gem. We went here based on local recommendations. The food was unexpected and demanded that I try something new. Having never seen a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich before, I gave in and was impressed! We ate inside due to the weather, which I rated down for being a little dark and impersonable. Service was great and the kitchen pretty quick for a lunch.

Atmosphere is a 10. This restaurant sits on a small lake and they have created a very nice atmosphere to eat in with an entire wall of windows to look out over the water. The classic pork tenderloin was prepared well, not dry. My side was house chips with Verde sauce. A nice change from fries. My wife had the West Coast Tacos which are filled with coconut shrimp. Also very well made. An overall great experience. We were traveling at the time and this place is just a short distance off our path.

Disappointed! Searched a lot of reviews to decide where to eat on the way back from a regional ball game. Decided on this due to its rating and menu. So disappointed! Service: while it was a Sat nite, it wasn’t full. Our waitress never once filled our water or drinks. She didn’t clear any dishes. When she didn’t return with my to go box, I went to get my own. She was sitting down on her phone by the hostess stand! She also didn’t seem to have a grasp of the menu. She was really young so maybe she hasn’t worked there long - or maybe she needed to check her tik tok and didn’t have time for us? Food: the Brussel sprouts were good and I’d recommend them.
