Popped in for dinner to this hidden gem! Meatloaf Monday night dinner special is so full of flavor. And by the looks of photos shared on Google we of course had to get the chicken fried steak. We shared the 4 veggie sides corn nuggets, fried squash, mashed potatoes & yesss the fried okra. They were out of rolls so toast was substituted & a very great substitute tasted more like an upgrade but now just has us intrigued to get a taste of the rolls!!! We’ll definitely be returning for many other menu items… catfish for sure & will make sure to save room for dessert & already making plans to try out breakfast menu items is a must! Hands down the best chicken fried chicken with mash and Mac we have ever had. It was so soft with no crunchy over breading. Their burgers are homemade and a very great size for the price. We will definitely be returning again.

Overall, the whole visit felt as if the staff was caught off guard to have customers at all. I would skip this one and look for other options. We visited on a Saturday evening around 6:30 and were told to sit anywhere. The waitress promptly took our order and brought our drinks, which started things off fine. Around 6:50, she came back to tell us they were changing the oil in the fryer and that it would be a while before our food came out. That seemed odd, considering many of the dinner menu items are fried and it was peak dinner time and still several hours before closing. She did apologize and we said the wait was fine. At one point, the waitress was yelling at the kitchen staff about the only other table’s fries not being crispy enough, which made for an awkward experience. Our food
