Alvarado Public Library

I love this library. All the ladies are fantastic and sweet! They ask me what types of books we are interested in each week when I visit the library with my kids. I appreciate the personal attention we receive. I was surprised by what a HUGE selection of books they have to offer for kids and adults, being a smaller library in a small town. We always find piles of books to check out each week. ❤️👍

Nice small town library. However, if you are not from Alvarado , the library card costs $10 which was disappointing.

Had a good visit today and the staff was very helpful and actually we're VERY accommodating since my training on the computer for a job actually went over a few minutes past vlosing. I do not like the lack of a "Quiet rule" since some people don't keep their kids quiet while others are working on the computers or trying to read it's distracting. I have never heard of a library with no rules for disruptive and distracting children. But really the visit today was great and only had that problem one time a few days ago. So overall a great library for a very small town! The computer screens are better than some at other Libraries and they even have a large screen one which is awesome.

I go here almost daily to do my homework. The bathrooms are always clean (men's at least) they have a good selection of books, quite a few DVDs and a few video games. Wi-Fi is 25mbps, it is a secure network not an open one. The library also provides computers if you need one. The ladies who work here are very pleasant and there are many corners or tables to accomplish homework or just find a quiet retreat if you need It! I highly recommend this place.

My second home. The people there are so awesome and kind, it's a shame they don't run our government. 😅 Just an all around amazing place. Would give more stars if able to
