The Daily Scoop

I usually enjoy coming to The Daily Scoop and I especially love their açaí bowls — they’re always fresh, tasty, and generously served. Unfortunately, today I had a disappointing experience. The açaí bowl I received came in a much smaller container than usual, with less than an inch of açaí at the bottom. It felt far from the standard portions I’m used to here. I hope this was just a one-time mistake, because I really like this place and would love to keep coming back for the quality I know they can deliver

Great service and good ice cream. The portion sizes are very generous. They even have treats for dogs too! We had a great experience and it satisfied our desire for late-night ice cream. The outside seating was a nice touch too. We ordered Death By Chocolate ice cream and a regular sized chocolate shake.

Great ice cream. Slow service, maybe a summer replacement, which would be alright. The 3 stars are mainly because of the condition of the diner. It's very nostalgic, I get it, and it should stay that way, but it needs to be fixed up and cleaned. Declutter, throw out all the stickers and sticky notes and do a deep clean, replace the stained drop ceiling panels, wipe the shelves, update the menu, replace or reprint some of the "daily scoop" panels from the early 2000s.

Great service they had Richie’s Italian ice in many flavors! The workers were so nice this place deserves more stars
