Customer Reviews
Our server was attentive and fun! She had great suggestions, which we devoured! Yum! We loved the antique bar and "old time atmosphere ". We'll be back! P.S.- this business is for sale!!
The Creek is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed exactly the kind of place you want to settle into and enjoy a great meal. A special shoutout to Brian, whose recommendation of the mushroom Swiss bison burger was spot on. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had. The bison was perfectly cooked juicy, flavorful, and not too heavy and the mushroom Swiss combination took it to another level. You can tell real thought goes into both the menu and the service here. Great food, great service, and even better recommendations. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be ordering that burger again without hesitation!
Just okay. I was expecting a lot more from the reviews of this place, but I ordered the Reuben sandwich and the corned beef was so tough that I had to eat the sandwich with a knife and fork. Other than that, the staff and atmosphere were great.
Update a month later:Update: A MUST when in Cripple Creek. The staff is so great, Bryan has excellent customer service. The kitchen staff outdid themselves again with the food. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and so full of flavor I didn't use the A1. The Brussels were simple, not complicated with 10 extra ingredients to "add flavor" I appreciate that you guys lightly season them and allow the flavor Of the Brussels sprouts to take center stage. The fries are, cut and made in house and delicious. They hit the spot for fries. Again impressed and highly recommend. Update a year later: and they are still delicious and worth the visit! My date got the chicken quesadilla which was not only delicious but I love how they put chilis in the quesadilla! I got the burrito and smoth
That was the best Elk burger that I have ever tasted! Our waitress Kathy was great and very helpful. The restaurant is clean and the prices are reasonable. The carving around the bar area is amazing and the copper ceiling and stained glass really give a warm atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. I highly recommend!
