The County Seat Kitchen & Cocktails

Stopped here for lunch while I was in the area. The food was very solid. The cocktails were really good too. The decor was also great. Classic. I also like restaurants/bars with couches. Definitely seems like a fun place to hang out.

This bar always delivers top-notch service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Whether it’s a busy night or quiet evening, they never miss a beat. The drinks are great, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. A solid choice for a good time with excellent service! Not to mention all the fun events/live music they have each week, this is a great bar and a great thing for Gainesville!

The County Seat has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Gainesville. I’ve been to several special events here, and every time the experience has been fantastic. My wife and I stopped in last weekend on the way home from Galveston and I'm glad she found it on google maps. We had been fighting traffic all day and were ready to get off the road and get some food. We both had the chicken sandwich and it was excellent! The chicken was cooked perfectly so it stayed juicy (which can be a challenge with boneless, skinless chicken breast) and the fixins were just right. The fries were great, too, and the service was excellent. We did not get anything from the bar because we had to get right back on the interstate but their cocktail menu had a little of everything. Overall excellent experience and will probably stop in the next time we're coming back from the island.

BEST steak I have ever had.. I am a steak counisour..I have driven hour and half for a good steak.. This steak is so juicy it melts in your mouth like butter.. no sauce needed.. I have gone twice now in two weeks.. They serve it on Saturday's wish they serve it regularly..lol..probably good thing I would be broke lol.. I will, I am sure be there again Saturday.. must try.. and the deviled eggs and French fries and vegetables are great too..
