Customer Reviews
Popped in here while I was waiting for my DMV appointment as an out of town-er and wow! The food was fantastic, it was super clean and calm inside, and all of the staff was so kind and accommodating! I had a great experience and would gladly recommend Cornerstone Cafe to anyone stopping in downtown Gainesville!
What a cute and clean place to stop for food on our trip. Really loved the make-your-own omelette, French toast and crispy bacon and eggs. The biscuits and gravy were amazing! Staff was so friendly. Glad they had a pot of decaf too. I don't usually get the option in places. Loved the stained glass and all the decorations. The fried pies looked delicious... we'll have to stop and get one on our way back home.
Our first experience was great! The food was all homemade and tasted fantastic. The amount of food you got for the price was VERY generous! Cute decor and very “mom/pop” feel inside. We will definitely be back! (The hash-browns I wouldn’t get again - they were bland but everything else (including the homemade salsa) was delicious!) For reference: we ordered the scrambled eggs with ham, peppers, onion and tomato with biscuits and gravy, coffee, sweet tea and hash-browns.
Food and service were great. The place is very cozy and bright. I love the awning and stained glass.
We stopped at this place yesterday as we had made the drive from Fort Worth. We had stopped once some years ago and found it have great food and service. That was not the case today? There was a sign at the door that told us to seat ourselves which we did? Then sat and sat, completely ignored. We saw other groups that came in after us get brought menus and silverware, but we were brought nothing or even spoken to? We got up and left! I gave the people at cash register a wave as we left. We will not be back here again!!!
