The Country Porch

The sourdough bread is excellent. staff was great. I got there late and employee were very helpful not rushing me even with closing 10 minutes away. I ask about shelf life at home they did not try to get me to purchase more than I could use didn't want waste.

Do yourself a favor and stop by The Country Porch one Saturday in the Fall. There is a wide selection of Amish goods to buy, some of it locally made. The deli meat is freshly sliced, and the made-to-order sandwiches are excellent. There is plenty for the kids to look at too, not to mention a couple playsets outside.

Super amount of jellies & jams available elderberry muskadine F.R.O.G jellies grest baking supplies( handmade pie shells flavorings colors and pie fillings) theres amazing windchimes & temple bells too hand made brooms theres a deli in back where you can get a burger made to order or a cold cut sandwich theres also some bakery products ( sourdough cookes hamburger buns hand pies) theres hand made bees wax candles & soap there is an area to eat inside but also tables outside

Simple, clean, pure, the BEST hamburger I have ever had. Their in-house made pastries are amazing!

Wonderful sandwiches and burgers. An old-fashioned general store complete with cheese curds, cinnamon rolls, fresh bread, and fresh milk. The amazingly light crust on the homemade fried pies was the highlight for me! Delicious!!
