The Cork & Fork

So i cant believe that every 15 years Hardwick produces a restaurant that really great and unique. The past one was owned by some great friends but was not able to survive hopefully this place does! It was very busy! Service was super friendly and fast and polite. Drinks were great! We tried fried green tomatoes, fish chowder (really fantastic) burger, schnitzel sandwich and salmon, and french dip sandwich. I think the the burger and schnitzel were the winners but everyone enjoyed everything! Desert was above average very rich! Overall a great meal and a cool spot.

I had a Jammin' burger with fries and a Stone Fence cocktail. The burger was a 10/10 - cooked perfectly as I ordered, delicious, and didn't fall apart as I ate it (big peeve of mine). The house cut fries were great, again cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. The cocktail was the crowning touch, delicious, well presented and just right. I can't wait to get back to try more of the menu. The owner, Marc, is a wonderful person too, he was friendly and welcoming, checked in with me several times through my visit, and seems to genuinely care about his customers' satisfaction.

Wow! A very unique experience, make sure to share with your better half...or, good friends and family. From prompt seating, excellent service, tremendous menu and served piping hot with a smile 😃 When you are in the food trades and do good things, it's great. If you care about what you do, it is fantastic...

Celebrated 9 years with my wife. Absolutely delicious menu . I would make the 5 hr trip again.

After a long car ride we found this place and I can't say enough good things about it. The food is fantastic. The venues fantastic. The owner's fantastic. The service was fantastic. If you don't stop here to eat you're making a mistake.
