Jeudevine Memorial Library

The reviews from years past were accurate then, but a new review is needed. After many years of effort by the Library Board and Hardwick community, a large addition to the library has been completed. It now includes many great places for adults, teens and young children to read or work and a community space for meetings. It is comfortable, well lit, has a robust collection of books and very helpful staff who will get any book you desire from inter-library loan if it isn't already in the collection. Jeudevine Memorial Library is now the library the town of Hardwick has always needed, wanted and deserved.

This is a nice little library with computers for public use. I wish they were open more mornings, though. The work space is limited to a single table and at about 3pm most days kids arrive from school, so it can be difficult to focus there given the small space. If they opened before 1pm more days that would extend the amount of time people can go there and actually focus on work. I get it, small town, small building, it is what it is. I'm glad it's there, but if I need a quiet place to work on my laptop I go to the libraries in Morrisville or Craftsbury most days.

This is a wonderful library with a great selection of books! I go here quite often and I love everything about it. They have done a wonderful job with the curbside pickup and I am very thankful I was able to get books! It also looks really cool :)
