The Coop by Hoopes

★★★★★ The Coop by Hoopes is a legitimate value-add in the Yountville dining ecosystem. It’s the kind of place that solves multiple needs at once—quick, high-quality food in a relaxed setting, plus a curated farm-stand component that feels farmers-market fresh. The French onion hot dog was a standout: toasted bun, deeply caramelized onions, and melted provolone—simple, comforting, and really well executed. What makes it even better is the produce. Farmers market–quality items at reasonable prices, which is not always easy to find in a destination town. Great stop whether you’re grabbing lunch, stocking up on fresh ingredients, or just want something casual that still feels intentional.

Recently, I was the only person there to order and it took 25 minutes to make a breakfast wrap, and when I took a bite of the wrap, there was bacon. I do not consume bacon. I specifically said no bacon. It appeared that an owner or possibly a manager had texted in an order through the person working at the front several minutes after I had ordered, and then showed up out of no where to drop off wine and to pick up their food which was prepared intentionally before mine. So I waited an excessively long amount of time for food that was not prepared correctly, when no one else was eating or waiting for food in front of me and there was no line. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning. I would also not advise that anybody else eat here if you want to get good service

This is a cute little breakfast spot featuring high-quality local ingredients. It’s located just off the main Yountville strip, making it a hidden gem that’s well worth checking out.

SO charming, the staff is amazing, love having a little place that creates community for the locals and offers the best of Yountville to visitors. The menu is varied and I love that I can get a Matcha and fresh farmers market produce in a casual chic setting.

A quiet, hidden gem in Yountville. Ingredients were very fresh, staff was friendly, and prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed the mini farmer's market and will certainly be back soon.
