Dessert: 4/5 - We decided to share a few desserts and they were all delicious. My favorite was the chocolate cake which was very moist and rich. Service: 4/5 - Friendly service. Ambiance: 4/5 - We actually sat around the bar area and because it was later at night we were the only ones there while others were in the main dining room. Portion to Price: 3/5 - A little on the pricy side but I mean we are talking about Yountville.

For a restaurant operating at this level, service execution did not align with expectations. There were extended lag times between courses despite a light dining room (four tables occupied) and three service staff on the floor. No manager was present or visible to address pacing or guest experience. Food quality and atmosphere were solid, but service inefficiencies materially impacted the overall experience.

I had another deeply disappointing experience at Lucy. I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken and was reassured it would be breast meat. What arrived was soggy and made with thigh meat. After returning it twice, it still wasn’t correct. Additional charges were added to my bill without explanation, and only after I pushed for clarity was the meal comped — a meal I couldn’t even eat and waited over an hour, outside. When I voiced my frustration to Paloma, the focus shifted from resolving the issue to managing my reaction. That dynamic landed as manipulative — as though my legitimate disappointment became the offense, rather than the restaurant’s mistakes. The service felt performative, not genuine, and the kitchen continues to miss the mark on both quality and honesty about ingredients.

Excellent breakfast with an amazing staff. From Valet to our servers this place is great. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh eggs, chicken sausage and wonderful potatoes.

Stunning location, Japanese inspired decor. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we visited (6pm) so vibe could have been better, but was still nice. The smoked salmon starter was delightful. Super light and delicious. The cauliflower and curry was tasty but felt something was missing to round out the dish. Perhaps rice.
