The Cookie Shoppe

My first time here and it was good! I got the turkey sandwich on toasted white bread and the vegetable beef soup! I only had 1 piece of beef in my soup but it was good still! I really enjoy the old back in the day feel it has, very nostalgic! I’ll be back when I can because they close at 2pm!

My first time eating anything from here. I really enjoyed it!! The Customer Service was excellent!! The soup was hot and the cheese toast was good. The lemonade tasted like it was fresh squeezed. I will recommend eating here to everyone!!!

This is the most quintessential sandwich shoppe, I have ever been too! The absolute best sandwiches and soups, oh I can't forget the namesake the delicious baked fresh daily cookies! I also love the employees and the sweet owner, they still yell the orders to the back and all the old framed newspaper articles all over the walls really make it feel like you stepped back in time! The Cookie Shoppe is a staple to Albany, Georgia!

Thursday mid-morning; solo breakfast diner. I asked about 2 similar items. I chose the more expensive one, and they charged me for the cheaper one. Delicious, real eggs and grits. A steady stream of locals keeps this place busy. Simple, quiet dining room.

One of the most enjoyable places to have lunch! The chicken salad was the best that I’ve ever eaten! I wish I had been in Albany longer to try other sandwiches on the menu! The homemade cookie was amazing … again, I wished I had more time to sample more cookies! Thanks to the wonderful folks who worked there for making my visit a treat!
